Take Action

Making progressive change to ensure everyone has a safe, healthy and affordable home requires an army of advocates working throughout Washington. Join us in the Rights! Action! Power! (RAP) initiative to take collective action around tenant protections and equitable housing.

Many lawmakers and community members would like to combat homelessness in effective ways, but pervasive myths and stereotypes have led to the pursuit of 'solutions' - like criminalization - that only exacerbate the problem. We invite you to use our toolkit to help educate decision makers and build the public will to prevent and end homelessness.

Join one of our regular Equity, Racial Justice, and Culture Lunch & Learn events. Each session offers tips and tools to shift organizational policies and procedures, supporting people at all levels of their equity journey.

The Washington Housing Alliance Education Network is a 501(c)(3) that educates about the impact of high housing costs. Your gift is tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Tax ID: 91-1599354.
